What is collected

To see which content people find interesting, the site keeps anonymous statistics about visits:

• Pages viewed, time on each page, how far you scroll and which sections you see.
• Links and buttons clicked, text copied, videos played.
• The site you came from and any campaign tags in the link.
• Approximate location (country, region, city), and your browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and time zone.
• Page load speed and technical errors.

Your IP address is not stored, nothing is recorded from forms, and no ID is saved in your browser, so a visit can’t be linked to you or to your other visits. The site uses no cookies. Page views are also counted by Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies either.

If you send a message through the contact form, your name, email and message are delivered to me by email so I can reply.

Where and how long

The statistics are stored with Convex in the EU (Ireland) and deleted automatically after 13 months. The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA), which processes requests under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Contact form messages are sent through Resend. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

Your rights

If you have questions or want a copy or deletion of messages you have sent, email office[AT]korea.fi. You also have the right to complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.
